08/13/2025, 09:05On August 13, Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, while visiting the Kudaibergen market, discovered an illegally installed barrier where motorists were being charged for entry.
The fee was 25 KGS for passenger cars and 40 KGS for trucks. It turned out that part of the parking area belonged to the municipality, but the market administration had not paid rent for this land.
The mayor ordered the barrier to be moved to a section that actually belongs to the market and instructed the city services to take control of the situation.
