For the first time in the Kyrgyz Republic, Aidoo Fest 2025 will be held: championships in ploughing, sheep shearing and machine operator skills.

The Sokuluk district is hosting Aidoo Fest 2025, a large-scale agricultural and financial event organised by Ayyl Bank. The festival aims to support and develop agriculture in Kyrgyzstan, as well as to raise the prestige of the professions of machine operator and farmer.

Aidoo Fest 2025 is being held for the first time and includes three championships: ploughing, sheep shearing and machine operator skills. More than 40 people from all regions of the country took part in the competitions. Fourteen participants in the ploughing championship, 20 sheep shearers and 10 machine operators are demonstrating their skills.

At the end of the first day, the qualifying round for ploughing was completed, and teams from the Naryn, Issyk-Kul and Batken regions advanced to the final.

On 27 April, the best machine operators from these three regions will compete for the main prize — a Lovol TE354 tractor and the opportunity to represent Kyrgyzstan at the international ploughing championship in Russia!

In addition, the festival included a sheep shearing competition, where 20 participants demonstrated their skills and won prizes:

Results of the sheep shearing competition:

    1.    Marat Kurmanaliev (Talas region) — 50,000 KGS
    2.    Stanbek Bilalov (Chui region) — 20,000 KGS
    3.    Ilyichbek Ibraev (Yssyk-Kul region) — 10,000 KGS
    4.    Tokoldoshev Nurbek (Chu region) — television

    6.    Zhyrtakov Suyunbek (Chu region) — 5,000 KGS
    7. Altyn Uulu Turat (Talas region) — 5,000 KGS

The organisers emphasise that the festival is not only intended to identify the best specialists, but also to draw public attention to the importance of agricultural work. Ayil Bank also outlined its priority areas for supporting agriculture in 2025: lending to the agro-industrial complex, developing agricultural cooperatives and high-grade livestock breeding, and implementing preferential programmes for the purchase of agricultural machinery.
The festival features an exhibition of agricultural machinery, a show programme and activities for guests.
Aidoo Fest 2025 will continue on 27 April. Anyone interested can attend the event at the following address: Sokuluk district, village of Kozhomkul, Frunze Street, no number (next to the new bus station).
The organisers hope that Aidoo Fest will become an annual event.
