Over the course of nine months, 77.2 tons of dairy products imported into Kyrgyzstan were returned at veterinary border checkpoints

Over the course of nine months in 2025, 50 violations were detected at veterinary border checkpoints, resulting in products being returned to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia.

Thus, 39 consignments of products were returned to Kazakhstan, 6 to Uzbekistan, and 5 to Russia.

A total of 209 animals, 306,400 eggs, 77.2 tons of dairy products, 145.2 tons of meat products, 129.4 tons of feed, and 17,786 liters of kumis were returned.

Also, in the first six months of 2025, 2,279 scheduled inspections were agreed upon, 2,498 entities were actually inspected, and fines totaling 1 million 403 thousand soms were imposed for violations of veterinary and sanitary requirements.

The Veterinary, Livestock Development, Pastures and Feed Service continues to systematically implement measures to prevent infectious diseases, ensure biosafety, identify animals and control the quality of agricultural products.

These measures are important for protecting public health and ensuring food security in the country.
