Drivers fined 8 million KGS

In April, inspectors from the Department of Land and Water Transport inspected 65,716 vehicles. The main focus was on compliance with passenger and cargo transportation rules, as well as weight and size regulations.

According to the department, 737 violations were recorded. The total amount of fines amounted to more than 8 million KGS. Along with this, explanatory work was carried out with drivers.

The Ministry of Transport emphasised that the increased control is not aimed at collecting fines, but at preserving roads and safety on the roads.
