05/15/2025, 18:38Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev visited the Kyzyl-Ompol deposit. Kubat Abdraimov, Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC, reported on the current work, noting that active construction work is underway at the site, including the construction of production infrastructure.
During the visit, the delegation familiarised itself with the progress of development of the Tash-Bulak deposit, which contains titanomagnetite ores. Currently, pilot industrial research is being conducted at the site to optimise the ore processing technology. Construction of production infrastructure is also continuing. These stages are key to preparing the deposit for commercial operation.
During the visit, Bakyt Torobaev noted that when this project was just getting started, many people didn't believe in it. Today, we can see real results — pilot production has started, infrastructure is being developed, and the project shows huge potential for the country's economy.
Special attention was paid to industrial and environmental safety and creating new jobs.
