06/14/2025, 16:19A 10-hectare plot of land has been returned to the state in the Jeti-Oguz district. This was reported by the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to a 2006 resolution of the Tamga Jeti-Oguz district rural administration, the «Tikhaya Bukhta» plot on the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul was put up for sale through an investment competition for the construction of a sports and recreation complex.
However, in violation of the terms of the investment competition agreement, the winner of the competition has not yet carried out any work on the site to improve and develop it in accordance with the stated objectives.
During the inspection, the owner, realising that they didn't legally own the land, voluntarily returned 10 hectares of land, worth 206 million 907 thousand soms, to the rural administration of the Barskoon Jeti-Oguz district.
