Zhaparov urged the EAEU to jointly implement AI to develop economies

At the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Moscow, the head of the KR Cabinet of Ministers, Akylbek Zhaparov, stated the need for joint efforts of the EAEU countries to actively implement artificial intelligence.

He noted the stable growth of economic indicators of the countries of the Union, especially in construction, where the growth was 32.6% compared to last year. The economy of the Kyrgyz Republic maintains high rates due to economic reforms, expansion of production and growth of exports and investments.

Zhaparov emphasised the importance of implementing the strategic directions of Eurasian economic integration until 2025, focusing on industrial cooperation and tourism. According to him, the world's advanced economies have moved to the sixth technological mode, including nanotechnology, genetic engineering and artificial intelligence, while the EAEU countries are at different stages of this process.

Adylbek Zhaparov proposed to mobilise intellectual and human potential to master the new technological mode and focused on the creation of competence centres to train qualified personnel for the unified labour market. He identified the development of biotechnology and modernisation of trade and economic architecture, including digital currencies and blockchain, as important areas.

He also noted the need to strengthen e-commerce and enter new markets, such as China and India, to maximise the potential of the EAEU countries. He emphasised the importance of addressing global challenges and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
