Residents of the Pervomaisky district of the capital raised issues regarding the shortage of schools and kindergartens

A meeting between Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev and residents of territories annexed as part of the administrative-territorial reform (ATR) took place in the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek.

The meeting was attended by residents of Mayevka, Tendik, Kalys-Ordo, Stepnoye, MTU No. 207, the residential areas of “Muras-Ordo,” “Dacha-Suu,” “Kut,” the village of Ozerny, as well as heads of city services and departments.

During the meeting, residents raised a number of social and infrastructure issues. In particular, they voiced concerns about the shortage of schools, kindergartens, paramedic and midwifery stations, and public transport, the slow pace of cleaning sewer and drainage systems, the lack of street lighting, the need to install pedestrian crossings and traffic lights, the unsatisfactory sanitary condition of water supply network pumping stations, and the inadequate level of public and fire safety.

Responding to questions related to land amnesty, the head of the city noted that in cases where illegally constructed objects hinder the implementation of road construction projects, appropriate measures will be taken by March. At the same time, he said that road construction work will begin in March 2026.

Within the framework of the ATP, work on the development of sewerage and water supply systems in the newly annexed territories will be carried out in accordance with the approved plan.

It was also reported during the meeting that a school for 750 students is being built in the Kut residential area.

Following the meeting, Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev gave specific instructions to the heads of the relevant city services on site and stressed that he would personally oversee the implementation of all the issues raised.
